A Tribute – One Year Later

A year has passed. A very long, hard year. School’s starting again. Kids are getting their new clothes & supplies. Schedules are arriving. Your’s isn’t coming, again. A year without you. No school games. No proms. No looking at colleges. All of those things your friends will be doing and you missed out on. A tragedy happened last summer. A terrible tragedy that took your life. The rest of your family and friends have been left behind, trying to pick up the pieces. Taking one day at a time. Mourning. Grieving. Trying to heal. Sharing memories, remembering fun times you had. Remembering hard times, too. Life isn’t perfect. We all know that, too well. Sometimes those bumps in the road throw us off course, cause us to end up down a different path then we intended on taking. We can only hope we find our way. All of our lives have changed since you left us. You are missed each and every day. You are in our thoughts each and every day. You touched the lives of all of us, each in a special way. Your smile, your kind eyes, your caring heart. God Bless You, Brandon Specyalski, today (8/24/09) – the anniversary of your death – and every day. You will always be loved and missed!
